Today’s video

Today’s bible reading- “Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.”—Jude 24–25

Reflect- Think back on the 30 days and reflect on the days that captivated you, challenged you. Think on the people you journeyed with over the 30 days. What practises resonated with you?

Consider- Tomorrow is a new day, how are you going to keep the practise of worshiping God going? There are infinite possibilities and practises for your to consider in your pursuit of God. Who else can you walk this journey with?

Pray-Thank God for His character and desire to make himself known to you. Thank Him for revealing himself to you over these past 30 days and ask for guidance in keeping the practise of worship going.

Today’s activity challenge- Keep this going. Text/call/email the people you journeyed with over the 30 days and commit to pray with each other. Leave words, messages and scriptures around your world as a reminder to think on the goodness and greatness of God. Draw, write, list, sing, move, read, in response to who he is. Make each day a new challenge. Do this with others.

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.Hebrews 13:20–21

Pray- Thank God for how great He is, for His majesty, His Holiness, for who He is.

Today’s activity challenge- Sing! Find songs that you can sing along to, when you're making breakfast, driving to and from work, school or Uni. Today’s activity challenge- Prepare your day with some words of encouragement for the people you know you will encounter today. Write them down in case you forget or don’t see them. Have a word of blessing for the random people you may encounter that may challenge you. Today’s activity challenge- Exercise each one of your senses today to spark a praise response to God. Find something you can see, something you can taste, something to smell, something to touch, something to hear. Write down what each thing was that triggered sensory response and praise God for his wonder.

Day 25 Worship Journey

-Selah-

Today’s Goal- To be prayerful of the list of people you are praying for.

Selah- Scholars of the Bible have tried to determine the meaning of the word Selah which appears 74 times in the Old Testament. Some believe it is a musical term meaning ‘silence’ or  ‘pause’, while others interpret Selah to mean ‘to lift up, exalt’.

Today’s video

Today’s bible reading- Mark 12:28-34

Consider- Our love of God can also be seen in our love for others.

Pray- Thank God for his character, his love for you and how he has revealed his nature through his son Jesus. Pray for the people on your list.

-City-

Today’s Goal- To practise your awareness of the opportunities to reveal Christ in your day today

It could be a word of encouragement, just listening, your reaction in a tough situation or talking to someone about the love of Jesus.

Pray- Give God thanks for his love for you, and his desire for you to grow in the knowledge of him. Thank God for today’s opportunities to reveal his love and the wisdom to know what is needed in that situation and the courage to do it.

Pray-Thank God for his love and grace, for Jesus and for the salvation of the person you have placed on your list.

Day 22 Worship Journey

-Walk-

Today’s Goal- To consider the destination in our walk in Christ

Today’s video

Today’s bible reading- Colossians 1:3-14

Consider- Often the journey can captivate us or distract us from the purpose of the journey itself. What is our ultimate destination? How is your walk? Each step is one step closer to our final destination, but it is also a step in revealing Christ in our lives through every terrain we navigate through.

Today’s challenge activity- Write a list of people who you can thank God for and to be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Write down the names of the people you are encouraging, and others who you feel God is bringing to your thoughts.

Practising spiritual disciplines (prayer, fasting, giving, silence, studying God’s word..) will increase your awareness of God and your desire to see him in all of your situations.

Today’s challenge activity- The idea of practising spiritual disciplines can seem daunting, but just like getting motivated to go to the gym, it’s best done with a gym partner. Text/email/call someone who you can practise disciplines with. Work out a schedule that suits you both and hold each other to it, motivating and encouraging one another as you grow in your awareness of God. Work out a plan for praying, reading God’s word, fasting, etc..

Pray- Thank God for his continued presence in your life and that by practising spiritual disciplines you will become more aware of him in your life. Pray for the right ‘gym partner’ to practise with and encourage you and who in turn you can encourage

Today’s video

Today’s bible reading- Habakkuk 3:17-19

Consider- Habakkuk is describing a situation that we can all relate to. Nothing seems to be going right and we are neck deep in problems. However he chooses to exult* God. Consider your tough situation, past or present, and dwell on what makes knowing God in your difficulty a reason to express triumphant elation and jubilation.

Day 18 Worship Journey

-Peace-

Today’s Goal- To reflect that peace is found in the person of Jesus.

Today’s video

Pray- Give gratitude to God for his desire to make himself known. Thank him for his character, exalt him for who he is.

Today’s activity challenge- Turn everything off, tv, computer, phone, anything that can provide a distraction from sitting in silence. Read through Psalm 46 again and sit in silence for five to ten minutes, longer if you can, simply contemplating God as a source of strength, as your refuge.

Pray- Thank God for his word, for its relevance and its truth. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal something unique and profound for you to consider today.

Consider- ‘For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.’ Psalm 33:4

Today’s video

Today’s bible verse- Hebrews 4:9-16

Today’s challenge activity-to memorise ‘For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does’ - Psalm 33:4

Write Psalm 33:4 down on a piece of paper or somewhere where you are likely to have it on hand and test out your memory throughout the day.

An interesting way to memorise a sentence is to start backwards. Start with the last word first. ‘does.’ Then add the second to last word and memorise that with the last word.. ‘he does’. Next.. ‘all he does.’ Keep going until the whole sentence has been memorised.
