Day 15 Worship Journey

-Selah-

Today’s Goal- To cultivate a love for God’s Word.

Selah- Scholars of the Bible have tried to determine the meaning of the word Selah which appears 74 times in the Old Testament. Some believe it is a musical term meaning ‘silence’ or ‘pause’, while others interpret Selah to mean ‘to lift up, exalt’.

Today’s video

Today’s bible reading- 1 Timothy 2:1-6

Consider- Reflect on the various activities from the past four days on God’s word. Keep active the various scriptures placed around your homes and work, add to them

Pray- Thank God for his word, for the Holy Spirit to reveal God’s intent through your reading of his word. Thank God for placing people around you who can keep you accountable and encourage you spiritually.

Today’s activity challenge- review the memory verse from Day 11. Place more scriptures in and around your house, work place in locations where you will happen upon them throughout your day. Allow the people you have contacted to be your spiritual indicators to ask you the tough questions and to remain open to respond to them and to God through prayer and reading of his word.
